Steamed Citrus Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 skinned salmon fillet (about 2 pounds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ORANGE YOU TASTY SALTOPIA Infused Sea Salt
  • 1 medium navel orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°. Place a piece of heavy-duty foil in a large baking pan. Place the onion slices in a single layer on the foil, followed by the salmon steak. Now sprinkle with ORANGE YOU TASTY. Arrange orange slices over the salmon & drizzle with EVOO. Cover the fish a second piece of foil, bringing the edges of foil together, creating an envelope for the salmon to cook in.

Bake the salmon for about 25-30 minutes until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork. Be careful of escaping steam when opening packet – don’t get burned by the hot steam! Plate, serve and enjoy!
