Swicy Sweet Heat in a Glass
This is the cocktail that makes people stop mid-sip and say “wait, what IS that?” The answer is HOT HEAD Habanero Salt on the rim — a slow, building heat that plays perfectly against the sweet mango and bubbly prosecco. It’s tropical, it’s spicy, it’s effervescent, and it’s the most impressive thing you can put in someone’s hand at a summer party.
Bonus: it’s incredibly easy to make.
🥭 Ingredients (makes 2 cocktails)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
- 2 oz mango nectar or mango juice
- 1.5 oz tequila blanco or vodka (optional — skip for a mocktail)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 oz prosecco or sparkling water (for mocktail version)
- Ice
- Fresh mango slices and lime wedges for garnish
For the HOT HEAD Rim:
- 1 lime wedge
- SALTOPIA HOT HEAD Habanero Salt
👩🍳 Directions
- Rim the glasses first. Pour HOT HEAD into a shallow dish. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip into the salt. Set aside.
- Blend the mango base. Add mango chunks, mango nectar, lime juice, and tequila or vodka (if using) to a blender with a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.
- Build the spritz. Pour the mango blend into your rimmed glasses over ice, filling about two-thirds of the way.
- Top with prosecco. Gently pour prosecco (or sparkling water) over the top. Do not stir — let the bubbles do the work.
- Garnish and serve. Add a fresh mango slice and lime wedge to the rim. Serve immediately. 🍾
✨ Pro Tip
For a party batch, blend a big pitcher of the mango base ahead of time and refrigerate. When guests arrive, just pour over ice and top with prosecco to order — fresh, bubbly, and effortless every time.
Want to dial up the heat even more? Add a tiny pinch of HOT HEAD directly into the mango blend before serving. Sweet heat from the inside out. 🌶️
