Recipes from HELL
One of my biggest complaints about finding new recipes is the amount of ingredients required. I always scan a recipe to see exactly how much will need to go into it! You'd think that by now, recipe writers would realize how busy our lives are and most of us don't have 65 minutes to prep and 40 minutes to cook! Any recipe over 5 ingredients - I tend to move on from. In fact, it's truly why SALTOPIA exists. I like knowing I can get "14 ingredients in one jar" and avoid purchasing each ingredient separately.
All in One Jar
Many of SALTOPIA's products were designed to do exactly this: avoid buying several jars of herbs, spices and other ingredients that we may only use one time. Plus, we've balanced the combinations for you, so there's no possibility of over-using an herb or spice that may make a recipe completely disastrous. For example, our French Curry infusions capture exactly what you should expect when enjoying the authentic flavor of curry inspired by French cuisine. You won't have to worry about buying between 10 and 16 different spices to create it on your own. That could quickly become costly, and you may not end up with the flavor you anticipated due to the importance of balancing the flavors.
Use it or Lose it
Everything I create here at SALTOPIA is always with a personal purpose. I ask myself, "Would I use this? Is it easy to use? How many other ingredients are needed to make a complete recipe? How does the finished recipe taste?" This is how new products are developed. If I can't find an easy purpose and use for a new product - I won't bother with it.
Beyond the Shaker
In case you haven't noticed yet, we create a lot more items that go beyond the shaker here at SALTOPIA! Most of these items are seasonal or special offer only. We have over 450 skus to manage and therefore, we can't always offer every single item all year long. It would be a lot to keep up with! Some examples of our seasonal creations are our best selling GRILL GURUs and SIDE SENSATIONS. These are available from April through September only during prime grilling season. We recently launched our brand-new ONE POT WONDERS soup starter collection as well, which will be sold through March.
Let's Dive into the Bowl
I have a house full of growing boys who are always hungry! My boys are "meat and potato" eaters. Offering them a bowl of soup is not enough. Yet, I love a good bowl of soup. Canned soup should be outlawed. I have tried just about every single brand available and nothing tastes good. I imagine it's because of the canning process. Canned soups are loaded with junk, over processed and really don't taste good. Yet, they are an easy way to quickly heat up a fast soup craving. That's just not good enough for me! This is how I created the ONE POT WONDERS soups starters! There are 3 options that take just about the exact same time it takes to heat a can of soup, and they taste WAY BETTER. You can dress up the recipe as much as you'd like or keep it simple and enjoy them as is. Plus, I can add meat, potatoes, corn and other toppings to create a robust meal versus a simple soup for my growing boys.

I wanted to let you know how much I love the soup starter packages. I made the chicken soup, and it was wonderful. I used the starter package, added chicken, carrots and celery along with white beans. Instead of water, I used chicken broth. It was so good we had it every day for a week for lunch! thank you so much for creating the starter packages. I also make the Italian soup with chicken and beef broth. I added some beef, black and white beans along with a jar of homemade salsa. It was so good! still eating for lunch and dinner this week.
You have certainly outdone yourself this time. I am so glad that I ordered extra packages of the soup starter to enjoy in the future. Next on my list is the potato soup. The ingredients are in the refrigerator waiting for me to make it. Looking forward to trying that one too.
