Honey Garlic Shrimp with Hot Honey & Mouth Full of Magic

This recipe is one of those weeknight heroes — fast, bold, and absolutely packed with flavor. The sweet heat of our Hot Honey salt pairs perfectly with the deep, savory punch of Garlic Salt: MOUTH FULL OF MAGIC to create a sticky, glossy glaze that clings to every shrimp. Serve it over rice, toss it into tacos, or pile it on a crusty roll — it works every way.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp SALTOPIA Hot Honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp SALTOPIA Garlic Salt: MOUTH FULL OF MAGIC
  • Fresh chives & sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Cooked rice or crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with MOUTH FULL OF MAGIC on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until foamy.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant — don't let it burn!
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just curled.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and Hot Honey salt. Toss to coat and let the glaze bubble and thicken for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley or chives, and serve immediately over rice or with crusty bread.

🍋 Note: The shrimp cook fast — pull them off the heat the moment they curl into a C-shape to keep them tender and juicy.
