Cabernet-Rubbed Ribeye with Herb Butter

A SALTOPIA recipe featuring Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Infused Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp SALTOPIA Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Infused Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Pat steaks dry and coat generously with olive oil. Press the Cabernet Sauvignon seasoning onto both sides.
  2. Let steaks rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Mix butter, rosemary, thyme, and garlic into a compound butter. Set aside.
  4. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Sear steaks 3–4 min per side for medium-rare.
  5. Top each steak with a dollop of herb butter immediately off the heat. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

🍷 Pro Tip: The wine-infused salt draws out the steak's natural juices — don't skip the rest time!
