Sauvignon Blanc Pan-Seared Cod with Caper Butter

A SALTOPIA recipe featuring Sauvignon Blanc Wine Infused Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1½ tbsp SALTOPIA Sauvignon Blanc Wine Infused Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with Sauvignon Blanc seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear cod 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and cook 2 minutes. Add capers and lemon juice, swirl to combine.
  4. Spoon caper butter over cod fillets and garnish with fresh parsley.

🍷 Pro Tip: Don’t overcrowd the pan — give the cod space to get that golden crust!
